Events

PTA events are created to organize and support parent involvement in children’s education. Our events are created with leading expert organizations on topics of importance to our members at members’ requests. The Eastwood Elementary PTA funds and runs great things at Eastwood. • PTA Reflections – art, music, literature, photography, dance, film contest 

• Book Fair – book sales for library enhancement 

• Fall Carnival Night – A welcome back to school event. Spend some time getting to know your classmates and their families.

• Fun Run – The PTA's major fundraising event of the year. A 1-hour race during the school year encouraging good physical health. 

• Vision Screening – a service to catch students who should see an eye doctor 

• Science & Engineering Fair – Conduct an experiment or build a prototype, then present it at the fair.  

• Breakfast for Kindergarten Parents – Come have coffee and doughnuts with the other new parents at Eastwood.  

• Maturation – an opportunity for 5th-grade students and their parents with district-approved curriculum

• Teacher Appreciation – a week dedicated to showing teachers how much we appreciate them

• Field Day – end of school outside activity  

DONATE! These programs depend entirely on parent and community donations. We have only one major PTA fundraiser during the year, but you can donate anytime to Eastwood Elementary PTA using the Eastwood Elementary PTA Store.
