Art Night Volunteers 

As we gear up for our upcoming Art Night on Tuesday, March 26th, we are reaching out to you, our wonderful community, for your support. Art Night is a cherished event for us, celebrating the creativity and talent of our students. To ensure its success, we are in need of volunteers to assist with various tasks leading up to and during the event. 

Science Fair Volunteers

Dear Eastwood Elementary Community,

We hope this message finds you well. As we gear up for an exciting Science Fair on January 11th, we are reaching out to our wonderful community for your support in making this event a success.

Science Fair Judging:

We are currently looking for enthusiastic individuals to serve as judges for the Science Fair. Whether you are a parent, a community member, or someone with a general interest in supporting our students, we welcome your participation.

Judging one shift is wonderful, and judging two shifts is even better! Lunch will be provided for judges between shifts.

No prior science background is required! Your enthusiasm and willingness to support our students are the most important qualifications. Please pass along the signup information if you or someone you know would like to be a judge.

On-Call Volunteer Team

Are you someone who loves lending a hand and making a difference, but finding the time for long-term commitments can be a challenge? If so, we have an exciting opportunity just for you! The PTA is seeking individuals who are willing to be part of our "On-Call Volunteer Team." This means that when we have short-term projects, events, or tasks that require just an hour or two of your time, we'll reach out to you for your invaluable support. From setting up event decorations and assisting during school activities to helping with small tasks that collectively create a big impact, your contribution will go a long way in enhancing our school community. By being part of this team, you'll have the flexibility to choose which opportunities align with your availability. Join our On-Call Volunteer Team and be our hero in moments that matter! The PTA Reflections Contest Chair serves as the driving force behind our school's participation in this inspiring creative arts program. Read Across America Committee

Be a part of something magical! Volunteer to coordinate the Read Across America Celebration & Breakfast on March 1st. We're inviting families to join us in their cozy pajamas for a delightful read-a-thon. SEP Dinner Committee

Join us in organizing a heartwarming Potluck Dinner for our amazing teachers during the Parent-Teacher Conference. Help us make this event special by coordinating the menu, setting up, and ensuring a smooth experience. Your involvement strengthens our school community.  This event is scheduled twice this year. September 19th & 20th and February 7th & 8th.

Emergency Kits Volunteer Opportunity

Be the cornerstone of preparedness as our Emergency Kit Coordinator! In this crucial role, you'll ensure the safety and well-being of our school community by organizing emergency supplies in each classroom and managing children's comfort kits. Your attention to detail will ensure that our students and teachers are well-equipped in times of need. Join us in creating a secure environment by taking charge of these essential resources. Come help make this the best book fair ever! 

The annual Eastwood Elementary Book Fair is just around the corner, and we are excited to invite our dedicated community members to lend a helping hand!

We are looking for volunteers to assist with various tasks during the event, including setup, staffing, and take-down. Your support is invaluable in making this event a success and providing our students with access to exciting books.

Kindness Week

Kindness Week is coming! Hooray! During the week of November 6 - 10 we will discuss and celebrate being kind to ourselves, our communities, and our world. We invite parents to join us by leading already-prepared, 20-minute classroom discussions. You may sign up for multiple days and/or classes (there are 2 pages of sign-ups, FYI). This is a great opportunity to engage with our awesome students!

Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your scheduled time, and check-in at the office with your valid driver's license. You will then be given your discussion materials (we will also email the discussion outline to you in advance).
