Together, we can make a difference for today and tomorrow in the lives and education of our children.

Hi, Thanks for stopping by. Here, you can find all things Eastwood PTA! We hope you enjoy it. Sign our guest book to let us know you were here.

PTA Meeting Tuesday, April 23th, at 8:45 a.m.

The next Eastwood PTA meeting will be held in the Eastwood Conference Room. Can't attend in person? That's OK, too. Email PTA.Eastwood@gmail.com to get a link to join the meeting via Zoom.

PTA Fundraiser & Fun Run

Join us on April 24th for fun and excitement as we celebrate our school community and raise funds for our PTA. This year's theme is Super Heroes, so get ready to don your capes and costumes and show off your superpowers!

This event is the annual fundraiser for the Eastwood PTA. Starting today, students can collect pledges from family, friends, and supporters. Pledges can be made on a per-lap basis (e.g., "I'll pledge $1 per lap completed") or as a flat donation. Our students will have the opportunity to run or walk as many laps as they can in an hour. Many children run about 20, and some will run as many as 40!

We can't do it alone. We need your support to reach our fundraising goal of $15,000. We're hoping each student can gather five supporters each to pledge $1 per lap. Let's band together to make this fundraiser a soaring success!

The Super Hero Fun Run is a family-friendly event that welcomes students, parents, teachers, and community members to participate.

This event is an essential fundraiser for our PTA, and all proceeds will support our PTA programs and events. By participating in the Super Hero Fun Run, you are helping to provide valuable resources and opportunities for our students and teachers.

Don't miss this exciting event and the chance to support our school community. We hope to see you at the Eastwood Elementary PTA Super Hero Fun Run on April 24th!

🔍 Project: Help Support Our Future Problem Solvers - Eastwood First League
📅 Deadline: Fully funded by March 2

DonorsChoose.org Link

For over a decade, Eastwood has proudly embraced the First Lego League, igniting a passion for STEM among our students. From State championships to the FLL World Championship, we've had some incredible achievements! 🏆

Now, we're aiming to take it even further with LEGO robotics kits. Your contribution will:

1️⃣ Broaden FLL Participation: More students accessing FLL, sparking their STEM interest.
2️⃣ Strengthen STEM Classes: Making classes more engaging and practical.
3️⃣ Support Extracurricular Learning: Enriching before and after-school Lego programming clubs.
4️⃣ Cultivate Skills: FLL teaches teamwork, critical thinking, and resilience.

Let's come together to make a lasting impact on our students' education! 📚💡 Check out Mr. Misco's DonorsChoose.org page for more details and contribute to help our future problem solvers soar! 🚀

Thank you for being a part of this incredible journey! 🙌

Welcome!

The Eastwood Elementary PTA executive board is busy planning for the school year. We appreciate the time many of you spend helping to make the Eastwood Elementary PTA a meaningful part of our great school.

Our top priority is to supplement our curriculum. Our key priorities are as follows:

We are excited at the prospect of bringing new programs to Eastwood Elementary and continuing many traditional favorites.

Becoming a PTA member does not require any time commitment, but we hope you will consider becoming a member of the Eastwood Elementary PTA. Being a member of the PTA allows you to have a voice in our PTA programs, and it shows your support for the State and National PTA and advocacy for children's rights and education. Their efforts are noticed during our legislative session. Also, your PTA membership has some benefits. Check out the National PTA Membership benefits page at pta.org/member_benefit_providers.asp for details.

If you want to become a member, visit our Store to purchase your membership today.

Contact our Eastwood PTA Board for more information about the PTA and what we do. If you are interested in getting involved with the PTA, visit our Get Involved page to see all our volunteer opportunities.
